UHU allplast firmly bonds many plastics to each other and also to other materials. The adhesive can be used on all common plastics - with the exception of plastics that are difficult to bond (e.g. polyethylene and polypropylene). Not suitable for polystyrene. The hard but flexible adhesive joint is resistant to cold and heat, water, oil, petrol, diluted acids and alkalis within 24 hours. SCOPE OF APPLICATION: Suitable for bonding e.g. plexiglass, hard PVC (novodur), ABS both to each other and to other materials (metal, wood, glass and ceramics). Not suitable for bonding PP, PE, Teflon and polystyrene foam. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: The surfaces to be bonded must be flat, dry and degreased. Apply the adhesive to one side, for porous and rough materials to both sides, press together and fix. It is advisable to roughen very smooth surfaces of hard plastics. For thin materials, apply a thin layer of adhesive to prevent deformation and shape changes of the blind joint. The glued joint reaches handling strength after 5 minutes and functional strength after 24 hours.
