The Note Pro features a brand new two-tone design and an AMOLED display covered in Gorilla Glass. It has an improved battery that offers up to 50 hours of continuous recording . The device is also equipped with an advanced studio-grade sound capture system with four MEMS microphones and AI beamforming technology that can capture voices with exceptional clarity from up to 5 meters away. The Note Pro can also record phone calls in hardware using a contact microphone. In addition, the voice recorder itself recognizes whether a phone call is in progress or is being spoken in space and automatically switches recording modes. The device also supports Apple's "Find My" feature, which makes it easy to find this miniature device.

The recordings are processed in the Plaud application, which is completely free . The application has a redesigned UI in the updated version 3.0 and offers a workspace that is controlled by artificial intelligence. The application allows users to group related recordings, notes and summaries into projects for long-term monitoring and team collaboration. This new version of the application also offers the option of multimedia input, which integrates voice, text, images and highlighting into one comprehensive understanding to create more accurate, relevant and personalized summaries. All advanced Plaud Intelligence features are free. The subscription only covers the monthly consumption of minutes of transcription of audio recordings. In the free Starter tariff, it is 300 minutes per month , in the Pro tariff 1200 minutes per month , and in Unlimited, transcription of recordings is unlimited. Studio sound, 4 microphones

A completely fundamental improvement is brought by a set of 4 MEMS microphones , which can dynamically identify the speaker's position, cancel out noise, echo and other unwanted sounds, thus creating a perfectly clear recording, up to 5 meters away . Thanks to the identification of the sound direction using the microphone array, speakers are clearly separated in the recording. For recording phone calls, the Note Pro has a built-in vibration sensor, the recording is done in hardware.

Maximum data security

Plaud places maximum emphasis on the security of your data. It uses hosting only on Amazon AWS servers and regionally. For the EU, this is in Germany. In addition, only the customer and, with their express permission, Plaud employees have access to the data stored in the Plaud cloud. The AI models used are not trained on customer data. In addition, the recorders are certified for compliance with the SOC2 audit standard, the HIPAA healthcare standard for handling sensitive patient data and the European GDPR personal data protection regulation. It doesn't stop there, Plaud also complies with ISO27001, ISO 27701 and EN18031 .

Plaud 3.0 application

The fundamental changes concern the application. It no longer only works with audio, but you can insert notes or images into the transcriptions, from which Plaud AI will draw. By pressing a button on the recorder, you can also indicate that the information being discussed is important to you. The recorder will then assign it a higher importance. All this contributes to the alignment of human and artificial intelligence, where AI not only extracts information, but also implements your values in the result.

Display and design

The Note Pro brings several improvements to the recorder itself. It has changed its design to aluminum wolves, got a color AMOLED display covered with Gorilla Glass for a better overview of the functions, now has automatic switching between recording phone calls and voice , and has a stronger battery for up to 50 hours of continuous recording and 75 days in standby mode. The Bluetooth version has been upgraded to 5.4 for even faster and safer recording, and now it is also possible to transfer recordings via cable.

Call recording

Note Pro enables hardware recording of phone calls thanks to a highly accurate vibration sensor. When connected to a phone, Note Pro automatically detects whether you are on the phone or talking in space and automatically switches to recording mode. The included case is compatible with phones equipped with Mag-Safe . For other devices, a magnetic adapter is included.

PLAUD Intelligence

For transcription, summarization and other functions of the Plaud recorder, the Plaud Intelligence service is available. All functions, including more than 10,000 summary templates , integrations, industry dictionaries or web and desktop applications, are free. If you need 300 or less minutes of transcription , you can continue with the Starter plan, which is free. If you need more minutes, there is the Pro plan with 1200 minutes of transcription , and the Unlimited plan, where minutes are unlimited.
