It is extra pure, its unique composition is 100% natural and is certified Cosmos Natural. Soap that is 100% made in Marseille Presented in its most authentic and noble form, our Marseille soap offers a natural, healthy and effective alternative for the whole family and for household cleaning. Cauldron saponification Our soap is made in a cauldron using the traditional Marseille method, a skill that has been passed down from generation to generation in our soap factory since 1856. This cooking process guarantees an extra pure soap with a minimum of 72% vegetable oils and gives it all its recognized benefits for the skin. Natural hypoallergenic soap It is made exclusively from vegetable oils and its formula does not contain any added preservatives, dyes, perfumes or animal fats. It is biodegradable and does not pollute the environment, so it is environmentally friendly. The older the soap, the more concentrated and effective it is. This long life makes it an ecological alternative to chemical cleaning and hygiene products. Fer à Cheval soap factory is a founding member of UPSM (Association of Marseille Soap Professionals). Composition: PALM OIL WITH RSPO CERTIFICATE Palm oil with RSPO (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil) certification is a sustainable oil whose production processes help reduce deforestation, protect biodiversity and respect the living conditions of workers. Palm oil is ideal for saponification due to its composition. It is composed mainly of palmitic acid, which guarantees the hardness of the soap, strong foaming and cleaning ability, ideal for removing even the most stubborn stains. Use: Marseille soap ideal for the whole family. It is suitable for all skin types. It can also be used as a universal household cleaner. Effectively cleans, degreases and removes stains from all surfaces and fabrics, even the most delicate ones. For household maintenance: Cleaning walls and ceilings There is nothing better than Marseille soap for washing and degreasing walls and ceilings. Dissolve a handful of soap flakes in a bucket of hot water. Wash with a sponge mop and rinse with clean water. Iron Regularly clean the soleplate of your iron if it is dirty or yellowed by rubbing it with a piece of dry soap when the soleplate is slightly warm. Wipe with a soft dry cloth or crumpled newspaper to make the surface shine. Mattress To keep your mattress fresh and clean, simply wipe the cleaned areas with a washcloth dampened with Marseille soap. Then wipe again with a cloth dampened with clean water to rinse the mattress and leave to dry for a day. Leather sofa care Dampen and wring out a washcloth or cloth with Marseille soap and gently massage the leather in circular motions. Dry with a clean cloth. This cleaning method will keep the leather supple and extend its life. Wooden terrace Regularly remove the mold, dirt and grime that have accumulated on the terrace over the months by scrubbing with a brush, a bucket of hot water and a handful of dissolved soap flakes. This simple and effective cleaning method will help you maintain your terrace over time. For laundry care: Homemade detergent recipe Dissolve a handful or 40g of shavings in 1L of hot water and stir until a gel forms. The detergent is now ready to use. Store in a suitable bottle and shake well before each use. For stubborn stains Dissolve 100g of shavings in 2L of hot water, add 1 cup of baking soda and ½ cup of white vinegar. Let cool and shake well before use. In general, rub dry stains, collars and cuffs of shirts with moistened soap before washing in the washing machine or by hand. For more stubborn stains, do the same, but let the soap work for a few hours before washing. Other tips: Brushes, cosmetic sponges Regular washing will remove dust particles and makeup residues that have accumulated over time. Gently lather the brushes without squeezing them too much to avoid damaging the bristles. Repeat the washing until the water remains clear. Dry them with a dry cloth and then turn them upside down to return the brushes to their original shape. Strollers, childcare equipment Hypoallergenic Marseille soap is ideal for cleaning baby equipment such as strollers. Machine wash removable covers with Marseille soap flakes. Wash non-removable covers with a sponge dampened with soap. For stubborn, smelly stains, apply soap and a little baking soda, leave for a few hours to loosen the dirt, then rinse. Leave to dry in the fresh air. Shoes Scrub shoes with a soft brush soaked in warm water and Marseille soap, then leave to dry in the fresh air without rinsing. Storing Marseille soap Store Marseille soap in a cool, dry place. It is a living material whose color and shape may change over time depending on exposure to air, humidity and light. However, it will retain all its properties and effectiveness. Our grandmothers would let it dry in cupboards for months to make it extra dry and last longer.
