Composition: RSPO-CERTIFIED PALM OIL RSPO-certified palm oil (Roundtable on Sustainable Palm oil) is a sustainable oil whose production processes help reduce deforestation, protect biodiversity and respect the living conditions of workers. Palm oil is ideal for saponification due to its composition. Consisting mainly of palmitic acid, it guarantees the hardness of the soap, strong foaming and cleaning power, ideal for removing even the most stubborn stains. Uses: Marseille soap ideal for the whole family. It is suitable for all skin types. It can also be used as a multi-purpose household cleaner. Effectively cleans, degreases and removes stains from all surfaces and fabrics, even the most delicate ones. For household maintenance: Cleaning walls and ceilings: Nothing beats Marseille soap for washing and degreasing walls and ceilings. Dissolve a handful of soap flakes in a bucket of hot water. Wash with a sponge mop and rinse with clean water. Iron: Clean the soleplate of your iron regularly if it is dirty or yellowed by wiping it with a piece of dry soap when the surface is slightly warm. Wipe with a soft dry cloth or crumpled newspaper to make the surface shine. Mattress: To keep your mattress fresh and clean, simply wipe the cleaned areas with a washcloth dampened with Marseille soap. Then wipe again with a cloth dampened with clean water to rinse and leave to dry for a day. Leather sofa care: Dampen a washcloth or cloth with Marseille soap and wring it out well, and gently massage the leather in circular motions. Dry with a clean cloth. This cleaning method will keep the leather supple and extend its life. Wooden deck: Regularly remove the mold, dirt and grime that has accumulated over the months from your deck by scrubbing it with a brush, a bucket of hot water and a handful of dissolved soap flakes. For laundry care: Homemade detergent recipe: Dissolve a handful or 40 g of shavings in 1 l of hot water and stir until a gel forms. The detergent is now ready to use. Store in a suitable bottle and shake well before each use. For stubborn stains: Dissolve 100 g of shavings in 2 l of hot water, add 1 cup of baking soda and ½ cup of white vinegar. Let cool and shake well before use. In general, rub dry stains, collars and shirt cuffs with moistened soap before washing in the washing machine or by hand. For more stubborn stains, do the same, but leave for a few hours before washing. Other tips: Brushes, cosmetic sponges: Regular washing will remove dust particles and makeup residue that has accumulated over time. Gently lather the brushes without squeezing them too much to avoid breaking the bristles. Repeat the washing process until the water runs clear. Dry them with a dry cloth and then turn them upside down to return the brushes to their original shape. Strollers, baby equipment: Hypoallergenic Marseille soap is ideal for cleaning baby equipment such as strollers. Machine wash removable covers with Marseille soap flakes. Wash non-removable covers with a sponge dampened with soap. For stubborn, smelly stains, rub with soap and a little baking soda, leave for a few hours to loosen the dirt, then rinse. Let air dry. Shoes: Scrub shoes with a soft brush soaked in warm water and Marseille soap, then let air dry without rinsing. Storing Marseille soap: Store Marseille soap in a cool, dry place. It is a living material whose color and shape can change over time depending on exposure to air, humidity and light. However, it will retain all its qualities and effectiveness.
