Since the extract from the plant parts of the lilac or its flowers does not exactly match its well-known aroma, perfume makers prepare this typical scent themselves by mixing jasmine, ylang-ylang, Neroli essential oil and Vanilla. Lilac (Syringa L.) is a genus of shrubs to small trees from the Olive family. The most famous is the Common Lilac, which is often grown in the Czech Republic and is also commonly planted. Osmanthus blooms beautifully in April and has an intoxicating scent. The white flowers in clusters are about half a centimeter long. It grows very slowly for the first three years, but then forms compact bushes.
