Singclean Coronavirus Test Kit contains 1pc immunochromatographic antigen test, which uses colloidal gold method for rapid and qualitative detection of Covid-19 antigen in human nasal cavity. Identification is based on the detection of SARS-CoV-2 antibodies (test line T) and IgG antibodies (control line C) which are immobilized on a nitrocellulose strip.

When the treated buffer containing the sample is added to the special well, the antibodies combine and an antigen complex is formed, which determines the result of this reactive test. The absence of a burgundy-colored band in the test region then means that the test result was negative. A great advantage of this test kit is the easy collection of a sample from the nasal mucosa, which can be performed by the test person themselves, even without any professional knowledge, thus reducing the risk of virus transmission during the performance of the professional test.

Interpretation of Results - NEGATIVE: If only line C is visible, the absence of any burgundy color in the T band indicates that no COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) antigen was detected in the specimen. The result is negative. COVID-19 - POSITIVE: If in addition to the presence of line C, line

T, the test indicates the presence of COVID-19 (SARS-CoV-2) antigen in the sample.

The result is positive for COVID-19. - INVALID: The control line does not appear.

The most likely reason for control line failure is insufficient sample volume or incorrect procedures. Check the procedure and repeat the test with a new test cassette. If the problem persists, immediately stop using the test kit and contact your local distributor.

Correct testing procedure

• Ask the patient to remove secretions on the surface of the anterior nasal septum, keep the head slightly tilted, and gently and slowly insert the collection brush into the anterior nasal cavity (nostril) and rotate several times to properly collect epithelial cells from the mucus. Stay for a few seconds to absorb the secretions, then pull out the brush by gently rotating.

Place the antigen extraction buffer vial vertically downward, squeeze the vial to allow the buffer to drip freely into the extraction tube without touching the edge of the tube, and add 6 drops (about 200 µl) to the extraction tube.

• Place the swab specimen in an extraction tube with pre-added antigen extraction buffer and rotate the swab stick approximately 10 times. Press the swab head against the wall of the tube to release the antigen in the swab, then let it stand for about a minute.
• Pull out the swab while squeezing the tip of the swab to remove as much fluid as possible. Dispose of used swabs in accordance with biohazard waste disposal methods.
• Install the dripper onto the extraction tube and cap it tightly and let stand for about a minute.
• Open the aluminum foil pouch and remove the test cassette, add 3 drops (approximately 100 µl) to the sample well on the test cassette (or add 100 µl using a pipette) and start the timer.
• Wait until the colored line (T) appears. The result should be read after 15 minutes. Do not interpret the result after 20 minutes.
