A preparation for the elimination of ants on a crystalline basis. Apply 1-2 g on a substrate (paper, plastic) and spread it on several places where ants occur. Formitox can also be applied in the form of a 2-4% solution (2-4 g / 100 ml of water). Pour the solution into dishes and spread it. After ingestion, insects die. The duration of action is 21 days.

Effect of the product:
FORMITOX EXTRA contains two active ingredients, namely bendiocarb, which is a carbamate, contact and ingestion insecticide acting on the nervous system of insects. It effectively kills a wide range of troublesome insects and insect vectors of diseases. The second active ingredient is pyrethrum extract, a natural organic substance with a strong insecticidal effect. Pyrethrum is contained, for example, in the seed coats of the perennial Chrysanthemum cinerariaefolium (old-leaved daisy), which is also commercially grown as a source of these insecticides. It is a neurotoxin acting on the nervous system of all insects. Doses that are not lethal to insects have repellent effects.

Usage and dosage:
FORMITOX EXTRA is supplied in a can with a lid with a rotating cover for application of the product, which can be applied in 2 different ways: by sprinkling or by water solution. Application by sprinkling is carried out by pouring 1 - 2 g of crystalline powder onto a prepared substrate made of paper, plastic or glass and placing it where insects occur. The insects then eat the bait and die after a short time. Application by water solution is carried out by dissolving 2 - 4 g of the product in 100 ml of water (2 - 4% solution) and then pouring the prepared solution into shallow dishes (e.g. a cup lid, etc.) and placing them where insects occur. The insects then eat the bait and die after a short time.
