pH increaser

• Bathing water should have a pH value between 6.8-7.6 .
• This range, among other things, ensures the best effect of chlorine without side effects.
• Therefore, check the pH value at least twice a week and immediately regulate deviations from the ideal value (checking before adding any water treatment products is absolutely necessary).
• A pH higher than 7.6 causes mineral turbidity in the water (filtration may become clogged), reduces the effectiveness of disinfection, and irritates the eyes and skin.
• A pH below 6.8 causes corrosion of metals and concrete, fading of colors , and mild eye and skin irritation.

Use

To increase the pH, 100 g / 10 m3 of water is usually dosed. It is advisable to first dissolve the dose in approximately 1 liter of water and pour it into the deepest part of the pool while the filtration is running, or sprinkle the dose on the surface in the deepest part of the pool while the filtration is also running. Do a control measurement after 12 to 24 hours and repeat the procedure according to the result until the pH of the pool water has the desired value.

Causes serious eye irritation. If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Wash thoroughly with water after handling. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/safety glasses/face shield. In case of eye contact, rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. First aid: if swallowed, give the victim 2-5 dl of water to drink, do not induce vomiting. If the product comes into contact with the eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. If the product gets on the skin or clothing, remove the affected clothing and rinse the skin with plenty of water and soap. If inhaled, stop exposure and move the victim to fresh air. In more serious cases of damage to health, eye contact or ingestion, always seek medical attention and show the label to the doctor. Dispose of unused product residues in a hazardous waste collection point. Rinse the empty container with water, recycle or dispose of as municipal waste.
