Copper sulfate is known as blue scum. It is one of the most common copper compounds and is the most industrially produced copper salt. Suitable for use against mold on plants, for impregnating wood against fungi, and to prevent algae growth in swimming pools. For swimming pools: The dosage of blue scum to destroy algae is about 5 g per 1 m3 of water. Do not forget about regular application. Blue scum is suitable for use as a prevention against algae formation about once every 2 to 3 weeks. You can remove aquatic algae at the beginning of the season with blue scum; if the incidence of algae increases, you can add up to 7 g of blue scum per 1 m3 of water. Blue scaly is a copper fertilizer intended for supplementary nutrition of agricultural crops with higher copper requirements. It has a positive effect on the stability of chlorophyll and extends the period of active photosynthesis. Its deficiency significantly reduces the use of nitrogen from fertilizers. Use: on light and acidic soils, to suppress moss, lichen and plant diseases. The characteristic symptom of copper deficiency is white spots.
