The new generation of whitening toothpaste with ActiluX technology lightens teeth using light-activated substances that bind to tooth enamel in a thin layer. The tooth surface is gently and effectively lightened using a photocatalytic reaction. The whitening substances are activated with each exposure to light, so whitening occurs throughout the day. In addition, the thin layer of coverage creates a “lotus flower” cleaning effect, which reduces the ability of dental plaque to bind to the surface of the teeth. Plaque is therefore easily washed away by the self-cleaning ability of saliva. The more light falls on the teeth, the better the whitening effect of the paste. The enamel becomes brighter and more radiant. The paste also contains fine silicates for gentle cleaning of the enamel and extracts from the Icelandic moss (Cetraria islandica), which have antibacterial properties and effectively lighten tooth enamel. It creates a protective barrier on the teeth, preventing the deposition of pigments.
