Bison PU MAX is a high-strength liquid polyurethane adhesive for highly stressed joints. It is intended for bonding in exterior and interior applications. The adhesive is resistant to water according to EN 204 D4, weather conditions and temperatures from -20 °C to +125 °C. Coverage 5 m2/kg. Does not contain solvents. It foams slightly (approx. 10%) and can be recoated after hardening. Bonding condition: one of the bonded materials must be absorbent (porous). SCOPE OF USE: Intended for high-strength bonding of hard and soft wood (including exotic), chipboard, MDF and OSB boards, PVC, ABS, metals, plaster, rigid foam, expanded polystyrene, insulating materials, cork, etc. to various materials such as concrete, masonry, wood, plaster, cork, bricks, etc. It is ideal for structural bonding of e.g. garden furniture, pergolas, staircases, wooden cladding, modelling and where the structure is exposed to high humidity and water stress. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: The surfaces to be bonded must be dry and free of dust. Apply the adhesive to one side with a spatula or brush. The layer should not be thicker than 1 mm. The working time of the adhesive is 30 minutes. Join the parts and press or clamp them firmly for at least 4 hours (recommended pressure is 2 - 5 kg/cm2). The joint reaches functional strength after 24 hours. Uncured adhesive can be removed with acetone, cured adhesive can only be removed mechanically. TIP: After 2-3 hours, remove excess foam from the joint with a sharp cutter that has not yet completely hardened and is expanding. After complete hardening, remove IMPORTANT: Do not use at temperatures below +5 °C. Recommended wood moisture 10 to 18% (maximum 25%). After use, close the container properly and store it in a dry, cool place protected from frost at a temperature of +10 °C to +20 °C. The minimum storage period is 18 months. After opening, it may be shortened.
