Bison PU MAX is a high-strength gel polyurethane adhesive for highly stressed joints. It is intended for bonding in exteriors and interiors. The adhesive is resistant to water according to ČSN EN 204 D4, weather conditions and temperatures from -20°C to +125°C. Coverage 5 - 6 m2/kg. Does not contain solvents. Foaming (approx. 20% - 25%) and can be overcoated after hardening. Bonding condition: one of the bonded materials must be absorbent (porous). SCOPE OF USE: It is intended for strong bonding of hard and soft wood (including exotic), chipboard, MDF and OSB boards, PVC, ABS, metals, plaster, hard foams, polystyrene foam, insulating materials, cork, etc. to various materials such as concrete, masonry, wood, plaster, cork, bricks, etc. It is ideal for structural bonding of e.g. garden furniture, pergolas, stair treads, wooden cladding, model making and where the structure is exposed to high humidity and water. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: The surfaces to be bonded must be dry and dust-free. Apply the adhesive on one side and on larger surfaces spread it with a 1 mm spatula. Workability of the adhesive 30 minutes. Join the parts and press them firmly or clamp them with clamps for at least 4 hours (recommended pressure is 2 - 5 kg/cm2). The joint will reach its functional strength after 24 hours. Uncured glue can be removed with acetone, cured glue only mechanically. TIP: After 2-3 hours, remove excess, not yet fully cured foam that expands from the joint with a sharp cutter. Once fully cured, removal is very difficult. IMPORTANT: Do not use at temperatures below +5°C. Recommended wood moisture content 10% to 18% (max. 25%). After use, close the packaging properly and store in a dry, cool place protected from frost at a temperature of +10°C to +20°C. Minimum shelf life is 18 months. It may shorten after opening.
