Zipper-bag is a special bag in which you heat food using Adventure Menu self-heating capsules.

The zipper bag is made of extra strong plastic to withstand both high temperatures and harsh conditions and handling in the wild. The bag is equipped with four holes to release excess steam after self-heating is activated.

How does a zipper bag work?

1. Prepare a zipper bag, a self-heating capsule, and an Adventure Menu meal.
2. Remove the self-heating capsule from the bag and place it at the bottom of the zipper bag. Do not throw away the bag, you will need it later.
3. If you are preparing a sterilized dish, place it directly wrapped in a zipper bag. You must first pour the indicated amount of water into the dried mixture, close it, and only then place it in the zipper bag.
4. Use the heating capsule bag as a measuring cup. Pour water up to the line and pour the measured amount into a zipper bag. Seal it carefully to allow the exothermic reaction to take place.
5. If you are heating sterilized food, wait 12 minutes. For dried food, it takes 20 minutes to heat due to the necessary rehydration.
6. Once the time is up, open the zipper bag and take out your food. It will probably be warmer at the bottom, so stir it thoroughly.
