Gelling powder 2:1 is a practical ingredient that every lover of jams, marmalades or fruit gels will love. With this mixture, everyone can prepare these treats at home. The sweetener xylitol will take care of it , which has about 40% fewer calories compared to sugar . In addition, you will appreciate the fact that it contributes to maintaining tooth mineralization. Thanks to its sweet taste, this vegan gelling powder gets along best with more acidic fruits, such as sour cherries, currants or gooseberries.

So if you have been avoiding jams and similar treats because of their excessive sugar content, you don't have to anymore. The 2:1 gelling powder has a great composition, making it perfect for preparing fitness treats. These include various marmalades or jams that are great for spreading on desserts, baking, or oatmeal. In addition, you can also use it to prepare various fruit gels or jellies that you can use to decorate both sweet and savory dishes. Composition

Sweetener: 97% xylitol; gelling agents: pectin, dextrose; acidifier: citric acid.

Use

Stir the contents of the container well before use. Use only clean containers and lids (preferably boiled). In a sufficiently large saucepan, mix 2 kg of cleaned, finely chopped fruit and 1 kg of gelling powder. Let the mixture boil until a layer of foam forms. Stir occasionally and let the fruit soften (3-4 minutes). Fill the still hot mixture into preserve jars, close tightly, turn upside down and let cool.

To make gelatin, mix 1.6 kg of fruit juice with 1 kg of gelling powder.
