Two-component epoxy putty is one of the modern materials intended not only for gluing but also for sealing hard materials. It is a two-component putty that, after mixing the components, hardens into a very hard mass that can be sanded, cut, drilled and subsequently painted over. SCOPE OF USE: It is an indispensable assistant in repairing cracks and fissures in boilers, radiators, coolers, PVC and stoneware pipes, car bodies, hard plastics, laminates, ceramics, porcelain, glass, concrete, stone, rubber, polystyrene foam, etc., both between themselves and with each other. Can be used in humid environments and underwater. Not suitable for gluing PP, PE, Teflon and silicone. INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: The glued parts must be clean and degreased. Cut off the required amount of material A and B and remove the protective film. Work the material until it is the same color. Work the material firmly into the repaired area. The workability of the plasticine is 30 min. at room temperature. The minimum working temperature is +5°C. Store in a dry and cool place. Its workability is 30 minutes, which is a sufficiently long time for high-quality application and subsequent adjustment to the desired shape. Cut two pieces of the same size (I recommend using a wet cutter), connect them with wet fingers and knead until a single-colored mass is formed (about one minute). Cracks, fissures: If you are repairing a crack or a fissure, apply a sufficient amount of plasticine to the damaged area and press it in with force so that the plasticine fills the entire damaged area. Then adjust the plasticine to the desired shape using common tools or moistened fingers. After hardening, you can sand and paint the plasticine. Excellent for repairing: cracks in stairs, tiles, concrete, metals, granite slabs (grave repairs), ... After hardening, you can sand, drill and paint. Leaking, leaking: Very often you need to repair a leaking waste, valve, tap, etc. Simply apply the plasticine directly to the damaged area. If the liquid leak is stronger, or the liquid leaks under pressure, fix the plasticine to the damaged area with fixing tape for at least 3 hours. Then remove the tape. You can sand and paint again. It allows repairs of: leaking valves, pipes, boilers, sink and toilet waste, gutters, punctured tanks and radiators, ... Material replacement: A common damage is the chipping off of a piece of material (stairs, flower pot, granite slab, etc.), which needs to be replaced. Here, the use of ALTECO Epo Putty plasticine is a must. The long workability allows us to apply the plasticine well and, above all, to shape the plasticine into the desired shape within the 30 minutes that we have available. After hardening, it can be sanded, drilled and painted. It completes: missing parts of stone sills, tombstones, tools (rake, shovel, lawnmower, pump). It perfectly anchors, for example, chipped dowels.
