Epsom salt is a colorless, odorless, highly soluble crystalline substance with a very bitter taste. It contains a high amount of magnesium and sulfate. Due to its food grade quality, it is suitable for both external and internal use. It is ideal for preparing relaxing baths that will help relax muscles, relieve stress, and detoxify the body. You can also use Epsom salt for foot baths, as Epsom salt helps reduce swelling and neutralize any odor. When taken internally, Epsom salt has laxative effects.

Tip! Prepare an Epsom salt scrub: moisten a small amount of Epsom salt in your palm and massage it into your skin in circular motions.

How to use:
To help with constipation in adults: Mix 2-6 teaspoons (10-30 g) of Epsom salts in 250 ml of water. Drink immediately. The laxative effects will occur within 30 minutes to 6 hours.

Epsom salt bath:
Fill a bathtub with warm water and sprinkle Epsom salt. For every 25-30 kg of weight, 0.5 cup (1 dcl) of salt is needed. Set aside at least 40 minutes for the bath. This will maximize the elimination of toxins and absorption of minerals from the water.
